Potential is not strategy.

In industrial markets, leadership teams often face the same pattern:

New technologies create opportunity.
Growth ambitions create pressure.
Markets shift.
Competitors move.
Organizations launch initiatives.

But potential is not strategy.
Ambition is not direction.
Activity is not execution.

The critical work is translation:

From uncertainty to strategic clarity.
From technology potential to business case.
From business case to go-to-market logic.
From direction to organizational alignment.
From alignment to measurable execution.

Founder's Brief

From Uncertainty to Executable Strategy

A short Founder’s Brief by Dr. Thomas K. Hamann on how leadership teams in industrial markets can turn strategic uncertainty into clearer decisions, robust business cases, go-to-market logic, organizational alignment, and disciplined execution.

The brief summarizes the perspective behind this campaign: many industrial companies do not lack ideas, technologies, or initiatives.  The harder work is translating them into decisions that can guide execution and create measurable impact.

When leadership teams involve us.

Growth & Technology Strategy

A new technology has potential—but no robust business case yet.

Business Case & Go-to-market Strategy

The opportunity is attractive—but the commercial logic is unclear.

Strategic Clarity & Business Wargaming

The strategy depends on uncertain market, customer or competitor behavior.

Transformation & Execution

The program creates activity—but not enough impact.

We are grateful to all our clients, the entire team, and business partners who have worked with us since our founding in late 2016.  Together, we will continue to consequently pursue quality leadership in our disciplines.

For this year’s ranking, 2,334 colleagues determined the best management consultancies according to their perception by industry and functional practice area.  Subsequently, assessments were obtained from the clients.  For this purpose, 1,100 senior executives were provided with a list of the recommended consultancies for each industry and work area clients via online survey; another 234 senior executives (Head of Strategy, Head of Business Development, etc.) from DAX, M-DAX, S-DAX and Tec-DAX companies were specifically invited to participate in the survey.
